Korrun KITE Project Launched!The first batch of trainees (Indonesia) has arrived in China.

In August 2024, in line with the Group's ‘All Going Global’ pace, in order to promote the talent localization training of Korrun overseas supply chain and Korrun global cultural integration, KITE project (Korrun Indonesia/India Talent Exchange) officially launched!
The project lasts for three months, a total of 11 high-potential employees from Korrun Indonesia and India key positions, came to China for in-depth learning on professional and management capabilities improvement!
On August 16th, the first batch of seven students from Korrun's Indonesia soft bag sector manufacturing base, started the first day of their expatriate learning in China at Korrun's Chuzhou manufacturing base with full of enthusiasm, embarking on their journey of exploration and growth in China.
At the welcoming ceremony, Korrun Chuzhou Manufacturing Base brought sincere greetings. The project initiator, Mrs. Fan, Head of Korrun 2B Soft Bag sector Production and Operations, said: ‘Welcome Indonesian trainees come to Chuzhou Manufacturing Base. We have fully prepared this cross-country learning project, including personalized learning programme, comprehensive arrangements. We hope that you can learn skills to develop Korrun Indonesian base, and achieve personal growth! ’
William, General Manager of Korrun 2B Chuzhou Manufacturing Base, delivered a speech, ‘What we hope most is that you can really cooperate, not just learn management skills, but more importantly, communicate and share information and culture. So we can lay a foundation for company future development. At the same time, we have repeatedly revised the curriculum to make them better understood by the trainees. We hope you will exceed yourselves in this period!’
Jacky, the project owner, made a project introduction, unveiling the mystery of the KITE project in terms of project background, training programme, business situation and cultural atmosphere. Afterwards, 7 groups of trainees and mentors were paired up, and the mentors share their expectations to the trainees and sent gift. A good Mentor can help trainees grow quickly!
Hasen from the IE department of Korrun Soft Bag Indonesian manufacturing base spoke on behalf of the trainees: ‘On behalf of all the trainees, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the company for allowing us to study in China. This is a valuable opportunity. We look forward to improving our skills, as well as gaining a deeper understanding of Chinese culture and management. We will work hard to bring the knowledge and experience that we learn back to Indonesia!’
Allen, General Manager of Korrun 2B Soft Bag Indonesia manufacturing base, also share to the trainees: ‘As the first batch of trainees, it is the first time for you to study in China. During the three-month training, I hope you can take this opportunity to broaden your horizons, follow your mentor to learn the skills in-depth. And then apply what you have learnt when you return to Indonesia. We hope that you can achieve excellent performance in your subsequent workplaces and get promotion. I wish you all the best in your studies and impress the other Indonesian partners! ’
In the afternoon, the mentor led the students to visit Korrun Weilai factory, garment factory, and main factory. By arriving the first line of production, trainees can unlock the secrets behind the products and processes.
Sending trainees to study in China is Korrun first cross-border talent development project, which was initiated by Korrun 2B Soft Bag Production and Operations Head, Mr. Fan, and Chief Human Resources Officer, Catherine, and was highly valued by the General Manager of the manufacturing base. The project team has made full preparations in personnel selection, personalized training and mentor arrangement, administrative arrangement, etc., to ensure that each employee can get the best learning experience.
When passion and dream meet in Korrun, the potential will be bright like a star! Although it is challenging to travel from Indonesia to China, we hope every trainees from KITE project can have the courage to go forward!
